LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
As the saying goes, better late than never. Having gone
without a ranked wrestler all season, Lock Haven University wrestling’s
Morgan
Horner (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./Hasbrouck Heights)
placed 16th this week in the Amateur Wrestling News rankings.
A junior 197-pounder, Horner earned
his first Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) title with a three-win
performance—all with bonus points for the team—last weekend at Clarion
University. His record now stands at 9-3, with four major decisions and
three falls.
Horner and five other Bald Eagles will
be back in action March 17-19 at the NCAA Championships in St. Louis.
