LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament fate already set in stone, the Lock Haven University women’s soccer team (11-6-2, 8-1-1 PSAC West) out-lasted Edinboro University (5-9-3, 3-7 PSAC West) today, 1-0 at McCollum Field. The Lady Eagles will host Indiana University (Pa.) in the PSAC quarterfinal round on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Freshman Sam Engard (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) hit for the only goal of the game off a perfectly-placed cross pass from Monica Mangual (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) with just under 20 minutes left in the game.

Freshman Emily Wagner (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) made four saves for her third shutout and fourth win. Trish Chilcott made six saves in the loss.

Engard, Mangual, Wagner and the rest of the Lady Eagles are back in action on Tuesday for the quarterfinal PSAC Tournament match.
