Laptop Purchase
Lock Haven University students may select either a Lenovo or Apple system as their Lock Haven program laptop.
While Lock Haven University students are free to purchase the laptop of their choice, please keep in mind that LHU is currently partnered with Lenovo to offer special discount prices to LHU students, and LHU is only authorized to perform warranty service on Lenovo brand laptops.
In any case, the laptop that you choose should meet these minimum technical requirements to ensure that your machine will last for your four-year college journey. It is also recommended that you purchase accidental coverage for any model of laptop that you are considering.
Students entering Fall 2009 will be able to purchase a laptop through SCC Bookstore. Information is being finalized. We are working to have this completed and posted by New Student Orientation week.
