Match or Exceed Statewide Pass Rate on all Areas

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – More than 176 Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania students have either
matched or exceeded statewide pass rates in a series
of tests designed to assess the quality of their
teaching preparedness.
Section 207 in Title II of the Higher Education
Act, as amended, requires each state receiving
funding under the Act to report annually on the
quality of teacher preparation in the state.
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania is a member of
Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The
State System of Higher Education is the largest provider
of higher education in the Commonwealth. Its 14
universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate
programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 375,000
System alumni live and work in Pennsylvania.
