For a rising senior accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Charles Galgoci & Nancy Berry Galgoci Accounting Scholarship

For a rising senior accounting major with the highest average among accounting majors. Recipient shall have completed accounting course work at LHU.

LHU Finance & Administration Department Scholarship

For a student majoring in the Department of Business and Computer Science. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have earned at least 30 credit hours. Student must have at least one remaining semester at LHU and submit to the scholarship committee a current resume and a short cover letter describing their career goals.

C. Herbert & Mildred R. Larson Scholarship

For a rising junior majoring in Computer Science with a strong background in mathematics who is a resident of Pennsylvania.  Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Janette Marek Memorial Scholarship

For a rising senior female Computer Science major with a minimum GPA of 2.5 with demonstrated financial need/active community service.  May receive award only once.

Applied Computer Science Scholarship

A one-year scholarship to an Applied Computer Science/Computer Information Science major who has completed Comp 300 Data Structures at LHU.  Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Dr. Adrians & Marta Ozolins Scholarship

For rising sophomores, juniors or seniors majoring in Economics or Political Science with preference given to an Economics major; based on academic achievement/demonstration of financial need.

Robert Seyfarth Scholarship

For students majoring in Management.  Must have achieved junior standing, with a minimum of 3.0 semester hours residence credit in major courses at LHU.

Eagle Valley Bargains Business Scholarship

For a senior student majoring in Business and Computers that is a PA resident. Student must possess a GPA of at least 3.0.

Poorman Female Entrepreneurial Leader Scholarship

To provide a scholarship for a female upperclassman at LHU majoring in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a resident of Pennsylvania

Joan Gallagher Memorial Scholarship

To provide a scholarship to a student employed by Stevenson Library. The recipient shall be a student determined to be the "most deserving" by the Stevenson Library Scholarship Committee, and shall demonstrate financial need.

Constance Irvin Pursley Memorial Scholarship Fund

To provide a scholarship to a student employed by Stevenson Library. The recipient will be selected by the Stevenson Library Scholarship Committee, and shall demonstrate financial need.

Recreation Management

The Ann & Wayne Allison Recreation Scholarship

For a rising Junior Recreation major with a minimum GPA of 3.2 or better in the major and a GPA of 3.0 or better overall.  Consideration given to service to the major and financial need.

Cale Shaffer Memorial Scholarship

For a rising Junior Recreation major with a minimum GPA of 2.5.  Recipient should be involved in community service and show a strong willingness to help others.

Dr. Matthew G. Maetozo Recreation Scholarship for Academic Excellence

For a male or female student majoring in Recreation. Must have successfully completed the Professional Semester or be presently enrolled in it and must have achieved a GPA of 3.2 or better in the Recreation major and a GPA of 3.0 or better overall.

Social Work

Donn & Mary Ann Zaffuto Wagner Academic Scholarship

For a rising junior Social Work major with a minimum GPA of 2.5.  Recipient should be an active participant and volunteer in campus community organizations.

 $1,200.00

Dolores Lynch Scholarship

For a Social Work major with at least 64 credits and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75. Must have at least a 3.25 GPA in the courses of the social work sequence. Not based on Financial need, but on merit and good academic standing within the social work major. Applicant must write a 350 word essay on why they decided to become a social worker.

Hari Prasanna Biswas Scholarship

For a senior Social Work or Sociology major with a minimum GPA of 3.6 in major and 3.5 overall GPA. A plaque will be awarded to recipient.

Dr. Roosevelt Green Memorial Scholarship

For a student majoring in Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or Geography who demonstrates respect for others, contributes to activities that benefit the LHU community and works to promote social justice on campus.
