Programming

Clearfield Activities Board:
he purpose of this organization is to constitute a medium for student involvement in the management of campus events and activities, develop a well-rounded program of University life and encourage all students to participate actively within it, promote a high degree of cooperation among students, faculty, staff, and administration of the LHU Clearfield Campus.

Fine Arts Society:
The purpose of this organization is to promote the arts and provide a better understanding and appreciation for the arts for students and the campus community.

Haven Activities Council (HAC):
The purpose of this student programming board is to provide a balanced schedule of social, cultural, educational, recreational special events and programs for the enjoyment of and benefit of the Lock Haven University community, and to provide the opportunity for student development and leadership throughout the initiation of these events.

Intramurals:
To offer organized sports for the students, faculty and staff of Lock Haven University and provide each an opportunity for rewarding competition in men’s, women’s, and co-ed competition.

Residence Hall Association (RHA):
The purpose of this association is to organize and provide co-curricular activities for residence hall students.  In addition, to establish and enforce rules which are conductive to group living and promote cooperation between individual residents’ assistants and hall council.  The RHA also support programs for the benefit of the residence hall students.

University Band:
To provide all band students with the opportunity to increase their musicianship through the medium of both marching and symphonic styles.  The band’s aim is to support the football team, supply school spirit, and bring entertainment and education to the campus community and the community at large.

University Players:
The purpose of the University Players is to constitute a medium through which the University community may express itself in the theatrical arts.
