Message from the Director
What an honor it is to serve in my position in the Office of Teacher Education and work with such outstanding teacher education faculty and staff! We are blessed with hard-working students who continue to strive to meet our requirements for becoming certified teachers. Our faculty work hard to mentor these students and to guide them along the way as they navigate the system for entering gates designed to make sure that all of our program completers demonstrate the necessary qualifications for entering the teaching field as certified teachers following graduation and meeting state-mandated certification requirements. In the teacher education programs at Lock Haven University, we believe that students come first and our faculty and staff make themselves available to help students reach their potential as future teachers. For information helpful for current students, please use our teacher education office website to search for information, forms, documents, requirements, handbooks, and more. For annual performance assessment results, go to our assessment section webpage section. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or need additional assistance. You may contact us at kblesh1@lhup.edu, TeacherEd@lhup.edu, or call us at 570-484-3013.
Professionally,
Brett Everhart, Ed.D.
Director of Teacher Education
