first off I just wanted to say I am glad people chose to have a discussion board because I use it a lot more than I thought I would. NOW.... I have a few questions about the last segment of questions on the study guide. They are the following questions. The only way I can think to answer these questions is from memory and I want to make sure I have the correct memories so I can write it down to study. here it goes. 1. Which database contains the most information on psychology sources? ~~~As I can remember it is called Ebsco-Host which is avalaible via the lock have library web site. Is this correct? 2. What is the best type of search to begin with when using the database? ~~ I think the answer to this is to narrow the search by using the theasurus but im not sure.??? 3. What are the types of searches that can be done? ~~~are these the tabs across the top of the search page??? ~~~example... (Basic, advanced, visual, chhose database, keyword, theasurus, cited references and indexes)???? and if yes which of these is it. 4.What type of search provides the most narrow search? ~~~THEASURUS???? IS IT??? OR OTHER??? 5.What library resources are available for psychology? ~~~????Books, journals, web articles, microfilms??? are these it or is it something else??? is it all of these or just some??? 1.Where are the majority of psychology books kept in the library? ~~~I just could not remember this????
