Well, most of your questions come from the information provided by Jaime Foor, the day we went to the library. There is a lot of information here, so here goes... 1. The database that contains the most information about psychology is PsycINFO. Ebscohost is a "gateway" that provides access to a variety of individual databases. 2. The best way to begin a search is to use the Thesaurus to find the appropriate search terms. 3. The various types of searches are keywords, descriptors, and major concepts. 4. Major concepts searches provide the most narrow searches. 5. The psychology resources available through the library include books, journals, and the study guide for psychology provided at http://www.lhup.edu/library/psyc%2007%20study%20guide%20rev%202-12-07/default.htm You should know what is available through the study guide. 6. The majority of psychology books are kept in the BF section, as mentioned in the psychology study guide at the address below. Good luck! :)
