Did you know that every year over
200,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with a form of
childhood cancer? We cannot ignore this shocking statistic
impacting the youth of our country, and we certainly hope
that you won’t either. We need your help.
On September 12th, we are dedicating
our soccer game to Alex’s Lemonade Stand to fight childhood
cancer. We are spending the next few days and weeks
preparing for this event. By doing so we will be selling
t-shirts, lemonade, as well as, accepting donations.
The money raised will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Foundation for Childhood Cancer, a 501(c)3 public charity,
to fund childhood cancer research projects. The mission of
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is to raise funds and
awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily to support
research into new cures and treatments; to encourage and
educate others, especially children, to raise money for
childhood cancer by holding their own lemonade stands; and
to expedite the process of finding new cures and bringing
them to children with cancer now.
Thanks for the tremendous support! We sold 200
t-shirts in under 48 hours and collected hundreds in
donations. The spare change in your pocket really adds
up! In total we will be sending over $1000 to Alex's
Lemonade Stand.
