NCAA Division II
Recruiting Guidelines
You may schedule up to 5 official visits
(to Divison I & II combined). Official visits to a
Division II college may be scheduled no earlier than the
first day of classes of your Senior year in high school.
During an official visit you may be provided with lodging,
entertainment, and meals. You need to register with
the NCAA Clearinghouse before you may complete any Official
visits.
You may choose to make an unofficial visit
at any point and in unlimited number. An
official/unofficial visit is defined by who pays for the
visit. An unofficial visit is paid for by you and your
family (travel related expenses). The University may
provide a meal for you and your parents during an unofficial
visit.
Beginning on June 15th, the summer before
your Senior year in high school, a college coach may call
you and/or return your phone calls. A coach may only
call you once per week.
After September 1st of your Junior year in
high school a college coach may send you recruiting
material, personalized letters and email. They may not
return your phone calls (or those of your
parents/guardians), but may speak with you if you reach
them.
Until September 1st of your Junior year in
high school a college coach may only send you
information related to their prospect questionnaire form and
summer camps. They may not return your phone calls (or
those of your parents/guardians), but may speak with you if
you reach them.
You may write to us and send your playing
schedule. We will do our best to watch you play, but
cannot contact you about that until September 1st of your
junior year. Do not think we are ignoring you, we are
just following the NCAA rules.
