Education
Walt completed his Physician Assistant Training at Hahnemann University in 1984 and a Masters of Medical Science Degree from St Francis University in 1997. He completed a post graduate surgical residency program at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine from which he recently was presented the Frank Scanlon Alumni achievement award.

Certification
Walt has maintained national certification as a physician assistant since 1984 and continues part time clinical practice in addition to his responsibilities in the program.

Experience
Director of the Lock Haven University PA program since 2000 and has been with the program since it started in 1996 an has served as both the clinical coordinator and academic coordinator prior to assuming the directorship of the program. In addition he has over 20 years of clinical practice experience.

Offices
Walt has served in numerous leadership roles within both state and national professional organizations including the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistant Programs (APAP). Professor Eisenhauer is currently serving in his second term as an APAP Director at Large. Mr. Eisenhauer has delivered presentations at National meetings for PA educators on topics ranging from the use of technology in PA education to organizational governance.
