About Us

Our Mission

The main purpose of Safe Haven is to serve the students at Lock Haven University. There are knowledgeable student leaders to assist other students with referrals, support and information regarding healthy decisions. The students involved with Safe Haven are patient, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated to helping any student with a variety of issues and concerns that may arise throughout the academic year. A trusted peer is a treasured peer!

Services

Safe Haven has a variety of resources and services for students including brochures and pamphlets on sexual abuse, sexual orientation, tobacco use, HIV/AIDS, alcohol/drug use, pregnancy prevention, physical fitness, safer sex, nutrition, stress management, study tips, and emotional and physical abuse. Safe Haven also provides free condoms.
